Terms of Service

1.1 Services Provided

We provide:

• 4FT LED number hire and displays
• Custom balloon displays and arches
• Shimmer walls and backdrops
• Floral arrangements and backdrops
• Neon signs and lighting
• Complete themed event packages
• Event setup, styling, and collection services

1.2 Service Areas

We primarily serve Milton Keynes and surrounding areas including Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, and Hertfordshire. Additional travel charges may apply for locations outside our standard service area.

3.1 Equipment Responsibility

From the time of delivery until collection, you are responsible for the care and security of all hired equipment.

3.2 Damage and Loss

• Any lost, stolen, or damaged hire items will be charged at full replacement value
• Normal wear and tear is expected and will not be charged
• Please report any damage immediately upon discovery
• We recommend taking photos of items upon delivery for reference

3.3 Setup and Collection

• Setup and collection times will be arranged at convenient times for both parties
• Standard setup/collection is during business hours (9 AM - 6 PM)
• Late-night or out-of-hours collections may incur additional charges
• Access to the venue must be provided for setup and collection

5.1 Event Photography

We love showcasing our work! We may photograph our setups and displays for marketing purposes. These photos may be used on our website, social media, and promotional materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

5.2 Testimonials

We may use feedback and testimonials you provide for marketing purposes. If you prefer your testimonial to remain private, please let us know.

When submitting booking inquiries or using our contact forms, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials.

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Use our platform for any unlawful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our website
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful content

7.1 Our Liability

Roman Events carries full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the total value of your booking. We are not liable for consequential losses, lost profits, or indirect damages.

7.2 Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage for your event and for any damage caused by your guests to our equipment or the venue.

Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, government restrictions, acts of terrorism, pandemics, or venue closures. In such cases, we will work together to reschedule your event.

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
